I have always felt at odds with the world, shy and awkward, and I didn't understand why. One day at high school I started doodling then writing about what was in my head. It was the early 1970's of the Vietnam War and nuclear bomb tests in the Pacific. As I was in New Zealand the bomb tests were close to home.
Several years later I travelled to Europe and wrote about that too. Then my younger brother was tragically killed and I returned to New Zealand.
So what follows are writings both poetically incorrect and uncultured, the immediate and raw outpourings of a young soul urged to get thoughts and feelings out on paper.
